In addition, Ecuador is the main supplier of fuel stoves and table stoves; validity of the agreement, Ecuador will benefit from tariff preferences for 207 products, of which 50 correspond to the agricultural sector and 157 to industrialized goods.
The Agreement will allow 161 products from Ecuador to enter the Salvadoran market without paying a tariff, 200 products will benefit from an immediate tariff reduction, only three products will be tax-exempt. three years and four products in five years progressively, he added.
According to the Ministry, with this agreement, Ecuador managed to protect sensitive sectors of the country, such as sugar, textiles and clothing, emphasis was also placed on small productive units, minority companies, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the inclusive nature of commerce.
