In an interview with Efe in Lima, at the beginning of a official tour of Peru and Colombia aimed at strengthening the "institutional contact" with both countries and dealing with the Spanish business community that works there, the minister stressed the will of continue to deepen an already close relationship and offer all the possibilities of Spanish companies to contribute to the development of the Andean country.

Precisely De la Serna started his visit with a meeting with Spanish companies based in the country, a place where "they feel comfortable" and where they see "opportunities" that can be answered by their varied capacities.
