Due to this great potential, the Association Guatemalteca de Exportaciones (Agexport) promotes the "Empréndete Exportando" program, which provides sustainable tools for entrepreneurs, the institution said in a statement.

The program has the support of the Kirzner Entrepreneurship Center of the Francisco Marroquín University (UFM) and of AL-Invest 5.0, a project financed by the European Union.

According to the Agexport, for the second consecutive year this week, carried out the program, in which 25 Guatemalan entrepreneurs participated.

Data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor of the UFM indicate that in Guatemala there are 3.2 million people who want to start a business, said the Manager of the Manufacturing Sector of Agexport, Aída Fernández.
