Chinese firm BYD will carry 50 electric buses to the province of La Rioja

The Chinese automaker BYD and the Argentine province of La Rioja signed an agreement to provide the public transport system of the northwestern region with 50 buses electric, informed the official Xinhua agency.

The Argentine province is launching a program of development of solar and wind energy, while BYD, specializing in electric vehicles and wind Hybrids, has already introduced its electric buses in 20 cities in fifty countries.

The High Technology Fair of Shenzhen, "technological capital" of China, is one of the main appointments of the sector in the Asian giant.
